I have been playing Dungeons and Dragons for well over five years, and in the last several I have taken up DMing. I am an avid fan of the Forgotten Realms, and though I've ran my own campaigns in custom worlds, Faerun is where my home is. I live in an apartment off Riverside Dr. in Austin, and as of now this seems to be where my group would meet up, but if anyone who joins has a place good for sessions then I would not hesitate to move there if it is more convienent for everyone else (it would be for me). This is meant to be a long term campaign with good character development and over-arching stories and plots. I try to find a good mix between RP and combat, while I like RPing more than the latter, I still appreciate a good combat encounter, and there are usually several in any given session. I have grown tired of evil characters, and so am disallowing evil alignments, though neutral characters are allowed as long as they aren't disruptive constantly to the party's cohesion. All characters are starting at 1st level, but will progress to epic levels if they play long enough.
