Welcome to Pen and Paper, Bruce Leroy. I hope you find your Star Wars campaign. My group is getting ready to start one, but you are too far away other wise I'd give you an invite.

About Me
Biography
"Shall we begin like 'David Copperfield'? 'I am born... I grew up.' Or shall we begin when I was born to dorkness, as I call it."

I started with D&D in junior high, and in the 20 years since then, I've played or GMed many varied games. I've probably logged more GM-time than I've played; I definitely enjoy GMing, but I would like to play too! Let it be known that I'm not one of those Judge Judy, backseat-GM/player players; I like to think my GMing has only enhanced my playing.

As a player, I try to "stay on target" - without taking myself too seriously - and to work together with the other players, as opposed to against them. Go team! I often have a short character background, and it's the tops if it makes it's way into the game in some way - but by no means obligatory.

Likes and dislikes:
I don't really like any Monty Hall at Thunderdome/no rules junk, but I'm not a rules lawyer (more of a rules liker). Well thought-out games, with an element of danger (i.e., PCs are not unkillable), are where it's at. No risk = no fun. I enjoy character development and plot progression over hack & slash, but I do like a good rumble within an interesting, detailed, story. I'm not a fan of powergaming, metagaming, gaming under-the-influence, or out-of-character actions.

I usually play tabletop, but I'm now mostly looking for online (Maptools & Skype) type games.
