I like to GM, but I prefer the players to have a lot of creative freedom in what story gets told. I don't like to railroad -- rather than writing a story for the players to follow, I like to respond to the stories that are coming from the player characters.

Biography:

I've played a lot of games, from D&D to Vampire to Exalted to Polaris to PrimeTime Adventures to In a Wicked Age to Warhammer to Robotech to Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and Other Strangeness. I prefer story-based games -- I like a lot of what's come out of the indie rpg crowd in the last few years. There's nothing quite like running a Warhammer witch hunters campaign using Dogs in the Vineyard mechanics, for instance.
