What are you looking for?

I am looking for a group of players who wish to experience an rpg set in Middle-Earth where they are not contrained by the events that take place in the published works of Tolkien. I am using the D&D 4e rules and have pregenerated characters with backgrounds ready for those who do not know the setting very well or just want to play an indepth character.

It takes place in Tolkien's Middle-Earth in the year of 1640 of the
Third Age. The devestation of the Great Plague has finally subsided and
life is starting to get back to normal in the land known as Eriador.

Your characters meet at the establishment called the Last Inn in the
fallen kingdom of Rhudaur in eastern Eriador along the foothills of the
Misty Mountains. The Last Inn itself sits just east of the river
Mitheithel along the Great East Road, several leagues west of Rivendale.

During this time, Dwarves still inhabit the mines of Khazad-dum, better
known as Moria and the Shire is has just recently been settled by the
little folk known as Hobbits. It is roughly 2000 years before the
events of the Hobbit and the Trilogy.

The Dark Lord Sauron is in hiding, it is thought he may be banished for
good at this time. But, a new scourge has invaded the lands of
northwest Middle-Earth. The Witch-king of Angmar is waging a war of
raids and atrition on the Dunedain of the Kingdom of Arthedain and has
overrun both the kingdoms of Rhudaur and Cardolan.

I am new to the Nashville area and have been looking for a group of players to DM. I am currently playing a PC in a Forgotten Realms setting here in Spring Hill.
I have been playing rpgs for about 20 years and DMing for 19. I am a student in the IT program at the University of Phoenix.
