What are you looking for?:

My last few roleplaying experiences were incredibly wonderful, and I've missed the camaraderie and fun of a great group since a few of our members (including me!) had to move for career/education reasons. Ideally, I would love to meet a group that plays an Eberron campaign, and have tried my hand at FR with a great group, and am chomping at the bit for Dark Sun ever since it came out again . More important than world or system is atmosphere - a fun and cooperative group where people show up every week (in general) and an immersive story takes precedence over the XP/cash chase. I'm 29, and and finished my doctorate in CA, now at Columbia, and have enjoyed playing well with people a decade or so in either direction or my age (my last group ran from 20 to 46), and am pretty easy-going.

About Me

Biography:

As DM for a series of Eberron campaigns emphasizing character development, exploration of the mysteries of Eberron, and the politics of Khorvaire and beyond, I tended to focus mainly on the noir side of the setting, while combat ran more to the pulp. As a player, of course, I just loved getting to take the ride the DM had in store for all of us - which is the whole point, after all!

Ideally I would play once a week or so, and I pride myself on putting significant prep time into any game I run as a DM and some real thought into any PC I play in a campaign.

I haven't had a chance to RP since moving to NYC this summer, and am just now stepping back into it, and am still on touch with my old group. Here's hoping my old PC doesn't become the party's next villian in my absence...
