- What are you looking for?:
- I'm interested both in playing and running games. As a player I'm looking for a mature group closer to my own age (i.e. one consisting mainly of players no longer in college). I like a mix of action and roleplaying, where the characters are allowed to drive the plot from time to time.
As game master, I am looking for mature players who are interested in roleplaying and games that consist of a mix of combat and mystery. I have several games in mind including: a Hunter: the Vigil game in the X-Files vein, a time travel focused GURPS game, a Mutants & Masterminds game, or a dungeon/city focused D&D game using the Arcana Evolved rules.
About Me
- Biography:
- I've been roleplaying since the early 90s. I started with D&D second edition, both playing and running games. In college I tried out a number of other games including: Amber (played and run), BESM (ran), Castle Falkenstien (played), GURPS (both), and old World of Darkness (played). When D&D 3E came out I ran that for several years, including one game from 1st to 20th. I ran another game like that with the Arcana Evolved ruleset. After that I ran a science fiction game in GURPS's Transhuman Space setting and a Mage: the Awakening game that included a crossover with Vampire: the Requiem.
Since then I've run Promethean over skype, Changling the Lost, and Amber. I am currently running a very long Mage: the Awakening game over skype.
In college I'd run a game and play in another games each week, but now that I'm in the real world I like to alternate playing and running games for my face to face games.
