Anyone down for some good old-fashioned bash the monster, steal his treasure?
We are looking for 1 or 2 players to round out a group that I have. The game will be in Ronkonkoma. It will be 3-4 Tuesdays evening per month from 7PM until 11 or so.
You don't have to have the 4th Edition books to play and newbies are welcome, so if you ever wanted to try out D&D, now's your chance.
The game itself will be fairly balanced between RPing and Combat. Mostly, its just a game to get together with cool people and have fun.

Biography:
My name's Frank, I am 32 and I have been playing D&D since the Red Boxed Set (Basic D&D) which was around 1986. I have been playing pretty much on and off since then, although there have been a few lapses where I just didn't have the time to play.
I have had the privilege of playing in several very awesome groups and am eagerly awaiting the beginning of this campaign to see how it shapes up. As far as systems go, I have played pretty much every version/edition of AD&D/D&D including several highly variant homebrew systems. I myself had been running a home system since 1999 that went through several itinerations. I am quite happy to say that I really like the direction that 4th Edition has gone in, and I was quite happy to hang up my home system of Arcadia and fully embrace 4th edition.
As far as non-gaming stuff goes, I am an IT Consultant in the city by trade. I love computers and all technology junk. In addition my hobbies include Music, Movies, Hiking, Camping, Rock-Climbing, Travel, and a host of other things.
