What are you looking for?

I have always been interested in a bunch of people telling stories. My favorite thing is when a player makes up part of the setting/or encounter and the GM takes it in stride and uses it. I'm a big fan of episodic games since I think that ensures a good combination of story and combat. I like the epic genre of games but I have been in situations where the GM draws things out too much. I get antsy if I can't swing at something every two weeks or so. I like minutia to a point but again I've been in games where the entire night is spent traveling on the road, or stuck in a town and nothing happens to drive the story. I love games set in a big city where I can be overwhelmed by the setting.

Biography

Well let's see I'm 30 years old and have been paying for about 11 years or so.I live in Portland, OR. I work in Parks and Rec, or Natural Resources management. I've mostly played old school white wolf and D&D but am a huge fan of Buffy and Serenity since I feel Whedoness is next to godliness. I think NWOD is just fine though I have not played it much yet. I am very geeked about Changeling the Lost. I'm just now getting into GURPS and I feel it will replace D&D for preferred fantasy system. I'm usually up for 1 or 2 games per week but that is flexible since I'm not sure what my schedule will be like. Looking forward to finding a good group of folks to play with.
