The 2nd Edition AD&D book The Complete Psionics Handbook also has a lot of information on psionics that might be very helpful. Finding a copy for sale might be next to impossible, but you might be able to find a copy to download online. If you're really lucky it might even be free. In the...

In my thread about homebrew spells, I had listed a series of spells based on the Glassteel spell. Namely Woodsteel, Stonesteel, and Bonesteel. The initial intention was to provide barbarian characters with wood, stone, and bone crafted weapons and armor which were a match for any steel weapons and...

I've seen and used various alternate critical effect combat rules over the years. Critical Hit/Miss Cards: This is the method my most recent DM used in his Pathfinder campaign. It's benefits are that it adds some flavor to combat through graphic descriptions of critical hits and misses....

Manual Of Medical Marvels Description: This heavy and heavily enchanted tome is very much like other magical books of its kind (Manual Of Gainful Exercise, Manual Of Quickness Of Action, Manual Of Lurve, Manual Of Martial Might, Manual Of Stealth, Book Of Erotic Fantasy, etc). It is a boon to...

Incidentally, a good place to buy Poker Chips is your local dollar store. Depending on their supplier, you can get a pack of 3 to 4 colours, with 13 to 20 chips of each colour. Generally, if you only get 3 colours you get about 40 white, 20 red, 20 blue. If you get 4 colours, then you'll get 13 to...

Here's a feat my groups GM introduced to our Pathfinder game. He said he got it from 4th Ed D&D. As I've never played 4th Ed before, I'll take his word for it. Feat: University Prerequisites: Minimum 3rd Level; Must have at least 300 gp. Description: This feat requires a character to take time...

Here's a system that I've come up with. It was inspired by the WWII board game "Axis & Allies". Get yourself some poker chips. The different colours of poker chips represent different numbers of troops. White = 10, Blue = 20, Red = 50, and Yellow/Green = 100. Place the figurine of each soldier onto...

What are you looking for?:
I like worlds where magic doesn't dominate, where a character is more important than his/her stats, and where opponents have realistic motivations. Combat is fun, but should be a punctuation to story. Treasure is over-rated. Mindless killing or amassing of wealth is boring on its own, it takes a story to motivate me.
