I am running a Fantasy RPG in Twin Cities & looking for players

    Hi

I just started running a campaign. I haven't run a RPG in +20 years. Ran them for many years. I am focusing on Fantasy Hero in a Sword & Sorcery setting (think Conan, Fafhred & Grey Mouser kind of world). Role playing is more important than combat. The story & characters are more important to me than the combat. I would say 50/50. Some sessions might be a big battle, some sessions not a single dice will be rolled for combat, and sometimes there might be a minor 'combat' as a plot device.

Right now there are just three players and myself. We are looking for 2 or maybe 3 players to join us.

We play on Sunday afternoons. If you are interested let me know. Here is some information about game system (not D&D), Hero Games http://www.herogames.com), and setting http://www.obsidianportal.com/campai...n-the-frontier.

    David

What are you looking for?:
-I want to play 4e (I loved 3.5, but I just don't think I can go back now)
-I want to be in a heroic campaign. Redeeming or 'dark' PCs are cool too. I am just not a big fan of being evil. I am a big fan of evil villians though.
-Character development is a plus. I want to feel I have a place in the world.
-I'm down with any campaign setting, although FR is my fav. Homebrewed is cool too.
-I am not afraid to admit it, I like combat. Even better when it means something.
-I am a big fan of party-unity! Working as a team is awesome. (Having an evil character in your party and not knowing it has a way of biting you in the butt later. Actually, it is more of the stabbing in the back.)
-Weekends or weekday nights work best for me. I am a nightowl, so going late is no prob.
-I enjoy lists with lots '-' in front of them.
About Me
Biography:
-I have been playing since 2nd Edition
-I am a mature player, but in no way does this mean I don't like to have fun. Let's just say I am past the point in my life though where I feel I need to get drunk at the tavern with my dwarf fighter and see if I can pick up/get lucky with elf chicks and then burn down the town and kill all the guards. (You know what I mean)
-I have a good handle on the 4e rules.
-Playing once a week or twice a month would be groovy, but I'll take what I can get.
