What are you looking for?:
Enjoy both playing and GM'ing. I enjoy games that don't have huge, overarching, metaplots. Tolkien did it well, most others...not so well. I think the easiest (and most fun!) kind of games to play/Gm are those that are more in the Sword & Sorcery tradition where an expedition to explore a tomb is more the order of the day than saving the world from the Queen of Darkness, blah, blah...Looking for folks that are friendly, mature, and considerate of others at the table. If those items are in place then a good time will be had playing most any game.
About Me
Biography:
I started back in '79 with OD&D so it has a special place in my heart. Lately I have been running both Swords and Wizardry White Box and a house ruled variant of The Riddle of Steel rpg, both set in my home-brewed campaign world. I am not a fan of 3.0,3.5,4.0, or Pathfinder as I am a Grognard (a friendly one!) who prefers games that emphasize player skill over skill rolls.

A Brief History of the Onderland

The Elder Days

The Elder-folk, or the Fey, have been here for as long as anyone knows. Long before there were tribes of Man.

Where they came from no one knows. Perhaps they simply appeared here.

It doesn't matter.

The Dvergar and the Alvar sparsely settled the entire region. Their numbers were never very great and they had no interest in creating cities. The Dvergar dug their delves in the hills
