What are you looking for?
Personally, I tend to play rugged, somewhat tragic characters, more often outdoorsmen living by their teeth then mages. I enjoy playing with people who are willing to let something develop, without purposely avoiding or initiating combat. To me, the story and character development is paramount, and all aspects of a game are useful towards this.

I'm looking for a group of diverse people, generally with a similar interest in role playing over combat. I tend to like games with a lot of grey areas, where the bad guys are just folk, the good guys are just different folk, and it all depends on perspective.
About Me
Biography
I am a freshman at RIT, and I've been playing for about 8 years now in some capacity or another. Mostly, my experience has been with playing and (rarely) DM'ing 3.5, storytelling a game of Mage, and a WoD inspired homebrew that our regular DM has been cooking up for the past year or so. I play 40K a little, but as a student I lack the income to support that hobby as much as I would like to.

In addition to gaming, I'm a bit of a gearhead. I'm studying mechanical engineering at RIT, and I like to tinker and let my mind wander. I'm taking a philosophy minor- I'm trying to focus on ethics and metaphysics. I think that might be part of why I like my games with so much moral ambiguity.

As a gamer, I was a D&D man through and through when it comes to fantasy systems, but I have an extreme dislike for 4e. If I wanted to play a video game, I would use my X-box. It's a fine system that works for plenty of people, but it's just not my cup of tea. Recently I've been playing and running pathfinder.

I like WoD in concept, but find it to be somewhat boring in practice. I'd be willing to bet that this was probably because of the GM running the games I was in, so I'm up for trying it again.

I try to run or play in a pathfinder session about once a week, but I am interested in gaming more if possible.
