What are you looking for?

I'm looking for a player driven story; the PC's should be the heroes of the story.

I like writing and using character backgrounds; love working with GM's to create a character that makes sense and is engaged with the story being told.

I'm also a fan of minis, I feel they save a lot of time in combat.

Would like to host; have a very nice space set up for it. Seriously, my basement looks like a castle, but warm.

Biography

I've played a lot of games, the ones I care about are L5R, Pathfinder, 7th Sea, Deadlands, Cyberpunk 2020, Shadowrun, and old World o Darkness. Played for a long time now, but not well-suited to GMing, apparently.

I am pretty pro-miniature; I feel they really help out in combat. Cuts down on questions like "How many can I get in this AOE? What range increment is he at? Can I charge?"

I have a variety of outside interests, (music, history, fitness, etc.). Suffice it to say, I'm not monomaniacally obsessed with all things gaming. Also, I have opinions on politics and religion. I suspect you might, too. As long as we can all respect each other, I'm fine with whatever you believe.

I'm also in my early thirties, married, and I have a solid job.

My basement is ready to rock as a gaming space; many books, nicely finished and furnished. Honestly, it looks like a castle down there.
