What are you looking for?:
I am currently looking to run a 4th or if preferred 3rd Edition campaign set in an original setting. I believe in creating games with a good mix of combat and story.
In brief terms, The setting is the massive walled city of Seraph, the last bastion of civilization in a world dominated by a massive and dangerous wilderness. The city is plagued by a number of problems from religious infighting, the treacherous senatorial politics, the limited food resources of the city's "Agricultural Zone" and the intrusion of monsters through the decaying city walls. The characters are members of a Senator sponsored "Intrusion Prevention" group, paid to prevent the beasts and creatures of the "Wild" and the sudden influx of back to nature cults that have begun to find foothold in the city from harming the citizens. The game will involve combat scenarios and political/social interaction. If you want to learn more, PM me please.
I would like to have players that are easy to get along with and creative, if you don't know the rules I will be glad to teach.
About Me
Biography:
I am a 22 year old Culinary/business Student with a life long infatuation with games. I ran my first campaign in grade school under the second edition rules and have DM/GMed almost continuously since in a number of different systems. I guess you could say I'm right in between the "new" generation of gamers and the old timers. My biggest strength as a GM is I am an apt scenario maker and can run off the cuff with ease. As for my weakness, I am a rather clumsy mapper,so expect butt ugly battlemat maps
I hope to hear from some Chicago land gamers, as well as anyone who wants to make a friend (and possibly join one of weekly OpenRPG games for BESM and DnD)
