Mix of combat and role-playing. Some side banter okay as long as it does not interfere with gameplay. Friendly group that doesn't take itself too seriously but likes to stay on task.

Custom Campaigns: Custom campaign setting materials and most official D&D materials (ask DM to use additional titles.)

GROUP BIO

Two of us have been gaming together since 2009, the rest since 2011. We're mostly 20's-30's, politically left leaning, alt/geek/hipster/techie/artist/musician/librarian types.

When we're not D&Ding (and for the occasional game nights with the partners and spouses), we play the more goofy games, such as Munchkin, Ninja Burger, Illuminati, and the most excellent and random titles from Cheapass Games.

Occasionally, we have done a holiday camping trip, mixing marathon gaming sessions with hiking, (food) mushroom hunting, hot springs, and road trips.

PERSONAL BIO

I have DMed D&D 4E since the start of 2009, D&D 3.5 for 3 years prior to that, and played and poured over the AD&D books (and issues of Dragon #68-120 something) way back when. I am currently working on a campaign setting to publish using the GSL from Wizards.

DM-ING
While I am currently the primary DM, we do switch off and encourage anyone interested in giving it a try to do so. I find this a nice break and a chance to regroup. In addition, it provides not only the new DM, but the whole group, an experience that could otherwise not be had with the same old lineup!
