Thanks for the invite to be a friend I read your bio and I feel your pain, I just moved to a new place and I can't find a soul that plays RPG's. I've played RPG's since Fifth grade....I just turned 38 so I've been playing a while! I look forward to reading your next Ravenloft installment! Talk to you later!

Hey, I just saw your comments on my blog. Thanks! Mentioning the fire beetles, I actually sweated it a little bit there. I thought those beetles would toast the party. I continue to be amazed at how resiliant these 4E characters can be. We had another session on Monday. We added another player and I'm glad. It's a hybrid bard/warlord. I'm glad too, because I think I put a little to much challenge into it. I used bug bears but could never get combat advantage against the party so the bugbears just slugged it out. I'll try to get the blog out tomorrow. Take it easy.

Happy B-Day! Let us know how Star Trek is.

Man, I'm enjoying reading your blog. Wish I was back in So Cal so I could join your game. I was down in Pedro on business last week. Sure was nice to visit. My trip was too short. Liked your reviews on the shows. Last time I was in Vegas I did the Star Trek things, Mandalay Bay Aquarium and the Luau (As Vegas as you can imagine) thing at the Imperial Palace where I stayed. I didn't gamble at all but there's definatley plenty to do there without that.
  5. I didn't hear anything about the starwars campaign in a while now, are you still going to do it?

I had a lot of fun in your Ravenloft campaign last night. Can't wait till the next adventure, and your famous Giant frog attack "tongue lash".

Good hearing from you. How have you and the better half been these last 2 months? Good, i hope. Hows' her school going? What have you been up too? I am hoping to join in next week with your Ravenloft campaign, if the home remodel project is done by then, or course. I hope.

I was told you are really good with star wars stuff. Thom Amon told me I should get in touch with you for my question. started making my charecter last night and I could not find any Togruta (Shaak Ti). So can I still play that race and if so how would I make stats. If no one knows it is fine I will just play as cathar. Or you can find it in the star wars stuff under Starting a Charector.

What are you looking for?
Looking for 4-6 adventurers to take long walks through dark, monster-infested woods. Perhaps ice cream afterwards...lol Okay joking aside, I'm a past game master / player that has played since I was in high school. As for what I like in gaming groups, I enjoy a laid back atmosphere, good natured players, a great game, and lots of laughs.
About Me
Biography
I'm 30 years old. I've GMed various games to my home gaming group in WV, but after moving to CA I was finding myself withdrawling from the lack of roleplaying games. I've played since high school (as mentioned above) so I have a lot of experience under my belt but don't think I'm a rules lawyer. I just enjoy a laid back time with a good night's gaming storyline with some great people. As For Games I've played and/or ran the following: Dungeons and Dragons (from 2nd edition-4th edition), Star Wars (my favorite was when it was d6, but I've ran and played the d20 version.), White Wolf's Vampire the Masquerade, Werewolf the Apocalypse, Changling, Wraith, Vampire and Werewolf Dark Ages, as well as Abberant, Shadowrun (though didn't care for it much), Call of the Cthulu, and World of Warcraft RPG.

New Group? Possibly

by Tamerath on Friday 02-26-2010 at 12:51 PM
It feels like forever ago when I used to post to my blogs on this site. It's good to be back though. The topic of today is finding a good gaming group. My last group was awesome, nothing bad to say about them other than I can't seem to get back in the game for one reason or another. So it's back to hitting the pavement to find another group of players willing to game with me and my fiance.

I posted a fresh and new campaign in the registry http://www.penandpapergames.com/foru...ad.php?t=15170

Switching Gears: Light In the Darkness

by Tamerath on Tuesday 06-23-2009 at 10:52 PM
I didn't know Obsidianportal existed till today when I got the email that our site "allied" to them. Fortunate for me, I checked it out and found a really cool tool to all of us dms out there. Basically the site is a wiki of sorts that manages the information we type into it...I've messed around with it and here's mine only an hour.

Also, you might have noticed if you followed that link that I'm closing up my Ravenloft

Expedition to Ravenloft Session 3

by Tamerath on Tuesday 06-16-2009 at 05:38 PM
I'll keep this weeks post shorter than my usual with just sharing the highlights before I start preparing for the next game.

* The PC's entered into a "Bride of Dracula" senario with some of the women Strahd has turned over the years (the three brides were Pale Reavers that were "draining" Ireena while the "Master" was away), the PC's scared them off and were able to restore Ireena from a withered weakend and diseased creature on the virge of a necromatic

Hall of Maiden's Trap Encounter

by Tamerath on Monday 06-08-2009 at 03:33 PM
The Maids’ of Strahd XP 2,400
Stained lace hangs neatly from eight canopied beds. In each bed, a figure of a young woman lays motionless, pale hands folded over her chest. In the eighth bed lay Ireena Kolyana dressed not in the armor you last saw her in, but a white wedding dress.
Perception
characters can’t use Perception to detect this trap
Additional Skill: Arcana
DC 30 : the character notices that Ireena is just an illusion, but the rest of the women are real

Castle Ravenloft Session 2 : A Swift POKE in the EYE

by Tamerath on Saturday 06-06-2009 at 07:30 PM
The best part of writing scary monsters is seeing how the group handles the situation. Though I'm happy with how I modified Strahd, modifing the EYE of Strahd gave me an equal satisfaction.

We go back to 7th level...at the original Expedition to Castle Ravenloft encounter named, "the crossroads", where they met the last remaining Paladin storming into battle against some murks (kinda like shadows)...but I played this encounter before...it's boring, it's kinda easy...and there
