What are you looking for?:

I am a judge. I lay out the world, homebrew, and it continues on with or without the players. While I do have adventures, I don't take players down the B&O Railroad. My world existed before the PCs and it will, baring unforseen circumstances, after the PCs.

What the players decide to do is what they can try to do. Just because I allow players to try things doesn't mean they succeed. I don't kill PCs but then again I don't coddle them either. OBTW, the world is relatively low magic.
