I am looking for a group that uses 'realistic' situations and common sense, not strictly by the book. I feel the book is only a guide, not unwavering law. Role playing is a must, but allow room for errors in player judgment and execution, we can't always ask the right question every time... Combat is essential, but not every battle has to be life or death fights. Although, it is exciting to know that if you mess up, you might not live to regret it. Playing in FR or Greyhawk is where I'm most familiar, but Ebberon is intriguing, just don't expect me to learn the history too quickly.
I am 37 and have been playing in a home game off and on for 8 years. I love Dragonlance, especially Kenders. I used to play a very successful Kender in my old group back in MI, but I haven't been able to put another back into action since. I have played all the base classes except a bard, but I do best as either a rogue, sorcerer or fighter. I tend to suffer as a cleric... My playing style tends to be a bit more light hearted than the rest in my current group, I like intrigue and subterfuge but too much seriousness in a game takes away from the fun. Basically, I'd love to import a Kender into a game and have fun. Mine isn't steal everything all the time and cause trouble, but more act first and deal with the results later :^)
