What are you looking for?

Currently running a campaign in a world with a classic mix of fantasy, including a European-style starting area with a mix of kingdoms, empires and smaller political units, down to independent city-states, and farther areas of more exotic locales, e.g. Persian, Arabic, Sub-Saharan African, etc. Currently using a modified 1ed. D&D, and have spare PHB for players to bone up on with. Would be willing to switch games, genres, and GMs. Looking for someone who understands life with children and professional careers. Finally, I use tabletop and mini's a lot in the campaign, both for combat and storytelling, so those who like seeing the game from above are most welcome.

Biography

I've been playing D&D since the mid-70's, but with several long breaks - the last of which I'm just beginning to break. I've played older games - Traveller, Gamma World, Top Secret, GURPS - and one campaign in Castles and Crusades, which stirred my interest in 'old school' gaming. I listen to Dragons Landing Inn and Fear the Boot podcasts and enjoy their gaming philosophies.
