I have played RPG off and on for over 20 years, although most of that time has been "off" rather than "on". I typically GM the sessions, but I have also enjoyed playing. I prefer an open system where I make up the base rules, then make up other needed rules as the game progresses. I have always liked D&D but have not spent the time or money to keep up with current rules and options.
