What are you looking for?

I'd like to be part of a friendly group that roleplays, but doesn't take it too seriously. Ideally, the players would be smart, funny, interesting, and be able to use tactics and strategy where appropriate. The DM should have an interesting story they want to tell in a setting they really enjoy. I'd also like a pony.

Biography

I'm an easy-going, sociable guy in his mid-forties, and I've been playing since I was fourteen. I've had some experience with enough game systems that I pick up new games quickly, so the system used doesn't matter to me. As long as there's a story going on and a good group of players, I'm in.

I've been DMing 2nd edition for years with a group of friends that's currently on indefinite hiatus. I'm hoping to find a new group to play with, and eventually I'd like to help out with occasional DM duties, once I've gotten a feel for what the group is interested in.
