What are you looking for?:

If I am a player, I am pretty much open to any game world and system. I prefer roleplaying to roll-playing (I don't care for rules lawyers too much). As a GM I prefer grim, dark settings mostly. I am interested in Call of Cthulhu mini-campaigns and longer Warhammer Fantasy RPG campaigns. As well, I am very intersted in running the new Dark Heresy RPG (Warhammer 40k rpg) as well as D&D 3.5 at the moment.

A good candidate for one of my games would be williing to share the spotlight with everyone else, be a good roleplayer, avoid rules-lawyering, and be willing to sit back, suspend disbelief and have a good time. I especially like players that detail their characters beyond what is necessary for the game. The more depth the better!

As a player, I would like to find a cohesive, mature group that has a GM with a similar style and outlook as mine. I am open to just about any genre and type of game. I have found that it isn't the ruleset or the particular game setting that makes a game fun. It is the story and the interaction of the players with each other and the GM.

About Me

Biography:

I've been playing rpgs since 1978 when my older brother brought home the original D&D set (the original blue set with the poorly drawn dragon on the front, not the blue set that was the first part of the blue and red set...). What was to my brother a curiosity attained near obsession with me... :) He ran one game for us and then I took over and started running games for my friends. I still have that set... I have played dozens of rpgs from basic D&D thru all editions thereof to Gamma World, Top Secret, Call of Cthulhu, Warhammer Fantasy RPG, WH40kRPG, Vampire, Rolemaster, Star Wars (all editions), Villians & Vigilantes, Rifts (and most other paladium systems)... Pretty much anything I could get my hands on!
