    i was always impressed that ICE did much of the same with the MERP material (1st ed, anyway), placing a conversion chart to d20 in the opening pages of all of their releases. looking back over the last 8 years, it seems even more revolutionary that they did that now...

I am Garry, I live in Dearborn, MI with the world's greatest Wife, three cats and a ball python.

I am an aging SF fan with too much time on his hands. I'm a long time wargamer and role-player. I have played some form of D&D since 1976. I'm an old Grognard and take a certain pride in that fact. I didn't start playing in school, they had to invent it first. Besides, have you tried to carve a character sheet out in stone?

Other games I have played?
I have played so many different games I forget. I'm willing to try almost anything once, but limited time means the days of four times a week gaming are long gone. I am also a model builder, somewhat musician, writer, Father, Husband, general handy man and computer enthusiast. I use Linux (Open SUSE 11.0) and spend way too much time on the Internet.

With some of the profile features back I decided to give the blogs another look. I still see no way to edit the blogs once posted.

I don't have much to add right now. Gaming tomorrow. Last session got canceled due to people being sick or the weather being awful. I am jonesing for a game at this point.

Home Improvement 2: Revenge of the Tools

Long done short, we didn't get it finished. All the field work was done Monday but the trim is still being worked on. So the room is going back together slowly, and we have gaming tomorrow. (UGH!!)

Friday gaming is canceled this week due to three players being out sick. One I am worried about. The fellow has MD and can barely move. (He is in a power chair.) The flu is not a minor matter for him.

Well hopefully we will be back to normal next week with Friday gaming.

No gaming reports? Wonder why?

We are painting the bedroom and repairing the damaged plaster work this week. Sue is home form work. We started Monday, and have yet to touch paint.

Rip out the damaged plaster and remove the bottom window trim. Two slight nicks to the right hand. Par for the course in demo work. That went simply enough.

Big Issue, the window sill is split, warped and rotting. Must be replaced. Custom cut hunk of wood made by some long

Con over time to start catching up with PnP, and life. Right now the house is upside down turned from a weekend of flying in and out. I have deliveries in the living room that I haven't even opened (everything arrived Thursday.) and opened boxes that have yet to be disposed of.
