About Me

Biography:

My name is D. Jay Newman.

I started role-playing with the original 3 books that started DnD while I was in college. Then I went on to pretty much everything else available for a while. I find I prefer GURPS and Tri-Stat.

Because I am my wife's full-time caregiver, I can't do face-to-face gaming. I can do electronic gaming that is based on email and can be done at odd times.

Earlier in my life I was, at varying times, a trackman for the railroad, a programmer/analyst for both University of Delaware and Penn State, and a writer (I have one non-fiction book published on robotics). Currently I am trying to learn to be a 3d graphics artist (Poser, ZBrush, Silo) which started out as a way of illustrating my game.
