San Francisco 1921 - Horror and mystery with a mix of short and long scenarios. My CofC is relatively serious, with some attention to period detail.
If this sounds like a setting that might appeal - with loads of props, dioramas and other chrome, then this might be a campaign for you. IF: You don't worry too much about the details of the rules and can live without incessant monster-hunting.
About Me
Biography:
I started running pulp/horror and Star Trek back in the '80s. I began again in the late '90s and have had on and off campaigns since then... Mostly off, as I tend to be bad at getting things started and this leads to YEARS of down-time after a group falls apart or peters out.
My place has a large dedicated gaming table surrounded by props and accumulated gaming STUFF. I'm fond of elaborately worked out scenarios with everything from maps and dioramas to specially prepared sound effects and multiple music playlists. I've gotten to the point where this sort of thing doesn't interfere with play... A problem I recall with embarassment.
