Here's a feat my groups GM introduced to our Pathfinder game. He said he got it from 4th Ed D&D. As I've never played 4th Ed before, I'll take his word for it. Feat: University Prerequisites: Minimum 3rd Level; Must have at least 300 gp. Description: This feat requires a character to take time...

Here's a system that I've come up with. It was inspired by the WWII board game "Axis & Allies". Get yourself some poker chips. The different colours of poker chips represent different numbers of troops. White = 10, Blue = 20, Red = 50, and Yellow/Green = 100. Place the figurine of each soldier onto...

Manual Of Martial Might Description: This heavy enchanted tome is very much like other magical books of its kind (Manual of Gainful Exercise, Manual Of Quickness Of Action, Manual of Lurve, Manual Of Stealth, The Vile Book Of Darkness, The Book Of Erotic Fantasy, etc) and is a boon to any...

Flintlock Pistol Of Scorching: This is a flintlock pistol of at least a +1 enchantment. In addition to the magical enhancement to the weapon's accuracy, it is also enchanted with the wizard/sorcerer spell Scorching Ray. Much like a wand, this weapon can have up to 50 charges of the spell. In...

Gauntlets Of Ogre Power: These magical gauntlets were a fairly common item in 1st & 2nd Ed AD&D, and as far as I know they have not been updated for the newer OGL rules of 3rd Edition D&D and Pathfinder. So I decided to make the adjustment myself (if it's already been done, oh well). Much...

Staff Of Asclepius: I had originally created this magic item for my Thundarr The Barbarian/Xena/Hercules crossover story, "Thundarr The Barbarian & The Kronos Stone". I kinda liked the idea of this magical staff, so I decided to write up some gaming stats for the item. Physical Description: ...

Lucky Coin: This platinum two headed coin has a maiden's head printed on one side, and a hag's head on the other. This coin grants it's user extreme luck, either good or bad. Game Mechanics: Any dice roll which is above average (11-20 on a d20, 6-10 on a d10, etc) is automatically considered...

What are you looking for?:
I am looking for ROLEplayers (ie: Art whores), not ROLLplayers (ie: Munchkins) and DMs to play in a long term campaign in the Forgotten Realms campaign setting. The reason I need both DMs and players is because I want to have a rotating DM system, where all players including the DM have a character in the group. The DMs character is an NPC earning half XP. Once the DM tires of running the campaign, one of the players takes over. The players PC becomes an NPC earning half XP and the DMs NPC becomes a PC earning full XP. We all maintain the same characters and stay in the same campaign setting and continue using the same version of the rules. This helps prevent DM burnout as well as giving everyone a chance on both sides of the DM screen.
I will start as DM. I will be using 2nd Edition rules with most of the optional rules from the books Skills & Powers, Combat & Tactics, and Spells & Magic (or Version 2.5). That means we'll be using Character Points (ChP) for proficiencies, Magic Points (MP) for spells, and the new critical hit/effects rules. We will not, however, be customizing class or racial abilities for extra ChP during character creation (but I will be more leniant with how many minor hindrances you can take during creation for extra ChP).
Characters will start play at 3rd level for single classed priests, rogues, and warriors. Single classed wizards will start play at 4th level. Multiclassed demihumans will start play at 2nd level in each respective class. Th
About Me
My name's Tony and I'm 33 years old. I've been playing RPGs since I was 14. I've played numerous other games, including Warhammer, Ninja Turtles, Heroes Unlimited, Ninjas & Superspies, etc, etc, etc. But with all the games out there I like D&D the best. I still play Version 2.5 because I'm not as infatuated with the new d20 rules as everyone else. Some stuff I like, others I think should have been left alone. Anyway, I've taken a bunch of time off from gaming for various reasons. I miss it and I want to get back into it, but I don't want to be stuck behind the DM screen for five straight years like I was last time (hense the rotating DM system mentioned above). I look forward to hearing from you all.
