- What are you looking for?:
- I like to run games that have a very different aspect about them usually, so they're not going to be typical, though that aspect will not be so drastic that it'll void bragging rites to other players. I love being inventive with my settings be it Star Wars (alternate storylines and such) or a D&D fantasy setting. Expect something different with me.
I also love roleplaying as much as combat. A good dungeon crawl is never a bad thing, but I've gone several sessions where the only d20 that was rolled was for persuasion or perception skills. I can run many types of campaigns so I will tailor to the players, but I love story. I like coming up with twisted storylines and intriquite plots that are usually deep and hidden.
Good players for my games will be those that like uncovering storyline about their own characters and about others. Combat is used to help achieve things, but I wouldn't mind having little to no combat orientation, only having it when necessary. I like smaller groups because it's easier to have large plots involving your players when you're not trying to weave in 5 backstories at once. So those that like backstories and like having their players uncover their pasts or trailblaze their futures are good players for me. Players that like getting to the bottom of the dungeon to find the loot that'll make their next level uber are not really the players for me and could get bored with the "downtime" between dungeons.
About Me
- Biography:
- I started in middleschool playing star wars and did that until Star Wars turned d20. Then I picked up Star Wars d20 and kept at it until someone said "You know, this is exactly like D&D, you should trying DMing." So then I started DMing and have been ever since. I've GM'd more games than I've played in (about twice over). I'd play every day of the week if my life would let me, but once a week is the most I could bare and keep my job...and wife
