Ideal Group Size:
Medium Groups (Between 4 and 6 players)
Online RPGs?:
Yes
What are you looking for?:
Ideal Group size between 4 and 9 players. 7 is perfect.
Game Interests:
1. Space-SF, especially Traveler (any variant).
2. "Morrow Project" or similar post-apocalyptic civilization-builder.
3. "Top Secret", or similar spy/covert ops: serious, or campy.
4. Anything Indiana-Jones-ish.
5. Any Superhero RPGs.
Interested mostly in a style of play that might be called "mystery solving," or "investigative," "puzzle solving," or "problem solving." Not hack-n-slash, nor "monty haul" [sic], but elements of adventure/danger/combat are welcomed. Game campaigns should have a plot line! Requires a thoughtful, well-read, intelligent GM and players.
Interested in hooking up with gamers in the NE Atlanta area (within 50 miles of Lawrenceville).
Also interested in learning about & participating in RPG-via-Skype (not just Skype specifically but ANY online connectivity mechanism). In this case, player & GM location obviously shouldn't matter.
Prefer to be a player, but willing to GM for Classic Traveler if there is demand for it. Could also GM "Top Secret" - again, if there is demand.
About Me
Real Name:
John B.
Biography:
I have played RPGs, tablestop strategy games, and miniatures since 1976. I have an original set of the first 3 D&D booklets, and a nearly complete collection of Classic Traveler.
I've been away from gaming for about 20 years due to raising kids. Currently I'm gaming once a month with old friends in a D&D-type campaign, but VERY interested in becoming involved with other gamers in the genres mentioned above. Able to play once a week most weeks; I'd probably miss 10-15% of a strict weekly schedule.
