What are you looking for?:
I'm very interested in starting a D&D 3.5 campaign (with a possible upgrade to 4.0, if that's what we decide we want) dealing with an apocolypic/post-apocalypic storyline. We'd start at level 5. All core classes and races allowed, other classes and races negotiable. Open alignment, but I'd want a good backstory for any CN or E character (specifically, you need a good reason to be working with the party. A character cannot just undermine all party decisions and actions, and one-dimensional selfish characters piss me off).
My gaming style is extremely flexible and relies heavily on dialogue between DM and players. I'm willing to bend the RAW if it means we have a more fun, interesting session.
I'd like players who are interested in roleplaying over combat (though there will be plenty of combat, it will not be the drive of the story).
18+ players only (though this will not a particularly graphic or sexual game. I'm just more comfortable running for people closer to my age).
I'd want to run in my apartment, and I smoke cigarettes in it. Just so ya' know (though I'm willing to step outside during sessions, as long as you don't care about the lingering everyday smoke). I know it's an issue for some people.
And I'd want a prep meeting, so we can talk about what everyone wants out the game, how quickly we want to progress, what kind of house rules we want to lay down, &c.
