What are you looking for?:

Looking for groups and players. Prefer high fantasy 3.5-type game with classic PC archetypes utilizing brain as well as brawn. I like a good amount of role play, and tactical combat. Group must be friendly and mature, but also laid back and not take itself too seriously.

I'm currently running a Pathfinder game (Runelords) with 3 friends once per month with room for one more party member at the table. We are all new and slowly introducing rules over time.

Biography:

I'm an early 40's newbie looking to finally enter the pen and paper arena. I have minimal actual tabletop experience. I'd like to really invest in a character, campaign and group. Recently started a group with 3 players and me GMing (Pathfinder Beginner Box and now Rise of the Runelords adventure path). I tried playing at a local game store but it seemed like the experienced players were just going through the motions for xp. Kinda boring.

I have all the D&D adventure board games (Ashardalon, etc.) and enjoy them quite a bit. Many years of casual PC RPGing and MMORPGing experience. Live in Oakland but willing to travel for a game. I'm a therapist by day.
