I did reveal Kenlan's real first name once. I'm not sure anyone picked up on that. Never have revealed his last name, though, and I kind of doubt I ever will.

That works great! I don't think the farmer will play a major role, but he might figure into the next couple of scenes in a minor way. I just always want to be careful when someone else introduces an NPC to make sure I'm not radically altering that player's vision for that character right at first.

You're right, this is a fun question! I tend to do the same things when I name things, drawing upon symbolism and reference. I occasionally use those references to help inform myself of where I could potentially go with the character. Tam's first name is a direct reference to Simon and River...

It appears we can't make a private room. The new details are on the event page. Also whatever we type seems to remain in the room indefinitely, so bear that in mind. I'm not sure what people didn't like about the old chat, but that's progress, I guess.

Odd... So how do we create a private room and stuff? And that was a great post, Fingon! I know you expressed some concerns about that post, but part of the beauty of writing for Tam is his volatility. He can fly off the handle with ease, per the needs of the writer(s).
