Totally depends on the system. Some systems support hack 'n slash far better than roleplaying, and vice versa. I prefer to play to the systems strengths. The only system I cannot get in to is 4th Ed D&D (played it several times, and just not interested). I'm open to just about everything else!
Flexibility is the key! Dungeon crawls are fun, but so are deep-intrigue roleplaying sessions! I definitely like everyone feeding off of each others ideas.
Requirements: Must be 16+ (and if under 18, your parent must approve), must have transportation (unless very close for pick up). Must have watched Monty Python and the Quest for the Holy Grail! ... Okay, the last one is optional, but preferred. ;)
About Me
Biography:
I have played for around 12 years now. I have played in quite a few campaigns and systems. I've specifically played in Rolemaster, Earthdawn and D&D campaigns extensively. Around six years ago I decided that I was going more of the "GM" route, and have done so ever since. I am not against playing, far from it, I just find that I enjoy DMing quite a bit. Right now I'm very in to Burning Wheel, but it's not the only system I enjoy.
I'm looking to play an indeterminate amount of times per month. Probably 2-4 (most likely every other week). I have a group right now that meets in the cities, but I would like to get one going that starts closer to home, if not at my house.
Note: I'm not very good at being politically correct. I do my best not to offend anyone, but getting offended at obvious jokes wont go over well with me.
