What are you looking for?:
I enjoy games with both lots of action and lots of drama, and I tend to reward creativity on both fronts. I monkey around with rules a fair amount, so my games sometimes use modified rules systems, or even systems of my own devising, though I won't change the rules once a game has actually been started. I'm looking for players who want to get together and have fun, and treat the game as both a game and a form of collaborative storytelling. I'm also looking for gamers with that right mix of maturity and sense of humor, and I only want players whose goal it is to make the game fun for everyone at the table. If you aren't willing to respect the other players and me, don't bother contacting me. In return, I'll treat you with respect and do everything within my power to make sure you have fun at my table. To that end, I encourage open discourse and feedback.
I don't play RPGs anywhere near as often as I'd like right now; in fact, currently I mostly play board games. I have a lot of experience with the d20 System, D&D in particular, and I have a fondness for the Eberron setting. I'm currently enamored of the Star Wars Saga Edition roleplaying game, and am eager to try it out. I would also consider playing d20 Modern or Call of Cthulhu. As far as non-d20 games go, I own Deliria, Serenity, Vampire: The Requiem, Werewolf: The Forsaken, and Dogs in the Vineyard (off the top of my head), and I'd be willing to play any of them. I have also been monkeying with my own system and setting on-and-off for a year or so, and could be convinced to teach and run that game if there were interest (you can find details on my system, Saga, at my website: http://www.gamecrafters.net).
