What are you looking for?:
I am currently running a game, so I'm looking to be a player in someone else's game. I enjoy a focus on story over mechanics, and like a nice mix of roleplaying and combat.
As to the specific game, I have experience with many different systems and would be willing to play anything as long as the setting and game is interesting and fun. I like a mix of mature, involved themes with just relaxing and having a good laugh and pure entertainment.
I am an active and responsible gamer. I am flexible and responsive to the needs of the campaign and story when roleplaying. I will actively participate in the game, reading up on background material, updating online game websites, or whatever other involvement is available.
I have been involved with RPGs since before I was a teenager. My older brother introduced me to AD&D. In high school I ran and played in games of Champions, Shadowrun and others. In college I was part of a long running Vampire:TM game and ran several once-off games in Shadowrun, Werewolf, Aberrant and others.
After college, I went on a hiatus from RPGs for a while until D&D 3E revitalized my interest. I ran a campaign for a couple years with local friends. Wanting to expand beyond D&D, I also ran a Vampire and Fading Suns campaign while playing in a GURPS Reign of Steel game.
Currently I am running a game of Scion for a small group of local friends. We meet every couple weeks. I enjoy running a game, but also miss the opportunity to be a player. I'm looking for a game to play in on the off-weeks in between the sessions of my current game.
