What are you looking for?:

Looking for a mature group for AD&D. None of the illegal stuff going on, (to each their own, it's just not for me). Don't like the new 4.0 rules (too videogame-ish), though my opinion may be tainted by the folks I've tried gaming with (players on ego-trips looking to exploit holes in the system rather than play the game as intended). I've not played anything in the 3.5 era, as my old gaming group fell apart around 2005. I'm also interested in trying other RPGs in the fantasy/horror/post apocalyptic genres, though my only real rpg experience has been in the AD&D arena. I prefer suspense and cerebral gaming with a good back-story to straight-forward hack-and-slash, though I won't shy away from a good old fashioned chop-em-to-bits session.

Biography:

Haven't played in years, though I still cherish my old books, modules, dice, etc. Used to play regularly with a good core group, but lost touch with them as life moved along. I've DM'd quite a bit (though it's been years since my last campaign), and I prefer a common-sense approach to gaming and officiating.
