Biography:

I'm fairly new to pen and paper games. Last fall, some friends and I took up D&D4e. We were all new so I took the reins as DM and we winged it. Not sure if it was my lack of experience or the game mechanics itself, but combat really dragged and after a few months the group started to fall apart.
