I run low-powered sandbox fantasy games with a focus on tactical player decision making. My strengths are in self-consistency, realism, descriptive detail, not imposing an agenda, and being a proper impartial clockwork DM. My weaknesses are in NPC characterization, ad-libbing, drama, and pacing.
If you have old-school sympathies, you might enjoy my games.
I'm a software developer in my mid-30s. I've discovered I make a very hard-to-please player, but a good DM. I played some of everything in my misspent youth, but I keep coming back to old-school fantasy. I've spent enough time around gamer theory (e.g. the Forge) to have some ability to talk about why we all do this, and how to get more of the good parts.
