What are you looking for?:
At the moment, I'm interested in playing a Rifts game that allows players to use pretty much all Palladium material (barring objections from the rest of the group), with character types focused into a single cohesive team, whether accepting mission assignments as part of a larger organization(government, military, or criminal) or negotiating various deals as independent contractors(Shadowrun-style). I'd like players that can handle social encounters as part of game and are capable of navigating complex power struggles(Vampire: The Masquerade/The Reqiuem). I'm looking to run the game every two weeks on Sunday afternoons.
I'm a 27 year old Marine Corps veteran that is currently back in school, studying Applied Linguistics.
I've been playing Tabletop RPG's since I was 14, where I started with 3.0 Dungeons and Dragons, moved into Rifts, and dabbled with Vampire: The Masquerade. After I joined the Marine Corps, I really got into Shadowrun, playing 3rd edition for a several months before I delved headlong into 4th edition, which I played for several years, alongside New World of Darkness LARP games.
I've run several hybrid 3.5 D&D/Pathfinder games that are usually completed at the end of one year.
