As a longtime fan of the RPG genre I would like to finally get into the pen and paper aspect of afore mentioned genre. Never before have I been a part of a Pen and Paper game and sadly I have no friends that play tabletop games.In the past I have played Warhammer and enjoyed it but over time I ended up playing with kids half my age and it sucked all the joy out of my experience.The allure of P&P to me is that the world you play in is not pre-determined to the letter but grows as you play and interact with your fellow players and the GM. This is something that is still lacking in modern video role playing games so I decided to google around for a site that would put me in contact with groups to play with, either through the internet or in the physical world.Thank you.

Biography:

I would like to list the hundreds of role playing games I have played over the years but sadly they are all video games since I lacked a local group/peers to play tabletop games with. Unless I can list playing High Elves(Warhammer) for several years.
Ever since I was a kid I have had a very lifelike imagination and have written many a pages about fantasy worlds, both science-fiction and historical fantasy.
My interests vary greatly, ranging from hard-science fiction to Tolkien-esque fantasy.
Sadly I have never played an actual Pen and Paper game before and would be considered a "Noob" by most of you.
