Biography:

I was an avid player and GM/DM of many games in the early 80’s including AD&D (1e, 2e), T2K (1e, 2e), Traveller, Traveller 2300, MSH, GW, Metamorphosis Alpha, WHFRP, Top Secret (1 & 2), WH40K (1,2,3), FASA Star Trek, Star Frontiers, Star Wars. Between about 1991 and now life has gotten in the way of my gaming. I did game a little in college in the early 90’s but mostly played Magic the Gathering at the time.

Now it’s 2012 and I have a wife, 2 kids and a mortgage but not a lot of stuff to do outside work and family. I think it’s high time I got back to my roots in gaming, I have played various computer RPG’s but I would sure like a group of like minded folks to “geek out” with a couple times per month.

In terms of games I am currently interested in I am limiting myself to AD&D in its 1st and 2nd editions based on about 1/3 nostalgia and 2/3 laziness. I don’t think I could handle learning a new gaming system after D&D, AD&D (1&2), T2K v1, T2K v2, MSH, Top Secret (1 & 2), MSH (1&2), WHFRP, WH40K (1,2,3), Traveller, MegaTraveller, Traveller TNE, Traveler 2300, 2300AD, FASA Star Trek, ICE MERFRPG, Star Frontiers, Star Wars, Masquerade (et. Al,) etc…

Besides, I don’t have any more bookshelves 

I did buy the core books for D&D 3.5 and they just didn’t click with me so I sold them on (something I rarely do). Can’t think of anything I specifically didn’t like, it just wasn’t D&D anymore (IMHO).
