What are you looking for?:

I prefer role-playing heavy games, but combat (and other dice-driven actions) definitely have their place. Along with that, I tend to shy away from black-and-white conflicts; I remember interesting and engaging characters and difficult in-character decisions much longer than "that time the bad guys were going to win but then the good guys did instead." Not that interesting and engaging characters can't have strong unambiguous moral compasses -- they certainly can -- but that doesn't mean the world should be as simple.

I enjoy everything from the biggies -- D&D, World of Darkness -- to small-press stuff (Dogs in the Vineyard is brilliant, and I've been wanting to get a crack at Primetime Adventures) and the occasional campaign in something in between, say, GURPS. I'm into both simulationist and narrativist games (if you don't know what that means, you probably only play simulationist), and I'm always up for something new.

I tend to play, rather than run, but I have GMed before (usually for D&D) and would be willing to do so again.

Biography:

I started playing at age 6 (1st Ed D&D) with my older brother and dad, and got the entire party killed. I'm still kind of proud of that.

I've played and enjoyed a pretty wide variety of games, and I'm quite possibly up for something new if you're playing something I haven't seen before. Recently, I moved to Denver and am looking for a group to play with. . .so I guess just promise not to be offended if I think your play style isn't what I'm looking for and I think we'll be fine, yes?
