Star Wars SE is the current obsession.
I HATE the Forgotten Realms. Eberron is cool. Greyhawk is always a winner.

What are you looking for?:
Whether as a player or as a DM, I prefer working with either experienced, mature gamers who know how to tell a good story and don't devolve into Monty Python Quote-athons, or younger players new to the game. I'd like to play serious games with a group of similar-minded, well-rounded players, but have thought about playing a running a "learn to play DnD" game for kids ages 12 and up.
I think I've played nearly every major or classic RPG out there. Some favorites over the years have included: WEG Star Wars, M:tA, DnD, Mutants & Masterminds, TSR Marvel Universe, d20 Modern & CoC. I tend to prefer non-Anglocentric settings (so Forgotten Realms is out!) that give more time to non-English-like cultures.
