What are you looking for?
I am looking for a group with an open seat that plays on weekends. I have played mainly D&D for the last dozen or so years with a few years in Star Wars. I also am interested in learning some of the various Rifts and Heroes games that are around. I tend to play characters that go against the cliches, and try to establish a decent personality and background to RP off of. I also GM for 3.5, with several years experiecne and a fairly fleshed out homebrew world with an accompanying campaign. The campaign is a long one, starting from low (1-3) moving up to Epic, if players are willing to stick to it. The players affect the world and can delve in it as deeply as they like.

Biography
I spent several years travelling the world in the USMC, and always have been able to find a group. I got out a few months ago and have been searching for a table since getting home. I would love to play in the D&D ruleset (preferrably 3.5), but also have and like to play SWRpg. There are some others I am only familiar with, such the futuristic and superhero games, that I would like to learn to play as well. I like to play the eccentric characters. I stray away from the repetitive "smash and grab" characters, and enjoy games where the action and combat is there to advance the story...not because the DM or players got bored of talking. I am available mostly on the weekends, but can try to make a weekday work if need be.
