What are you looking for?:

I am a newcomer to D&D for all intents and purposes. I understand the concepts and many of the mechanics of the game, but am not up to speed on how gameplay should flow or what my specific responsibilities are as a player.

I'm looking for a group that doesn't take itself too seriously and doesn't mind having a new player along, learning the ropes. I feel I could be very good addition to a group.

Biography:

I'm a 44-year-old husband and father of four. I work as a computer systems analyst and have always loved RPG's - particularly the fantasy genre, though I'm open to others.

I spent probably way too much time playing EverQuest off and on from 2000 - several months ago, never getting a single character to max level. I simply enjoyed playing each different class and experiencing what the game had to offer from each perspective much more than riding that leveling fast track.
