So two years ago my husband and I found an AMAZING group of people on here to join for a somewhat weekly game. They are situated a little farther from home than I originally wanted, but it was so worth it. They are now looking to move farther.... so hubby and I want to start looking for more friends to play with.
We like to run games, we like to play in games, but most of all we like to host for games! We have many lovely amenities in our home that we would love to open up to a new gaming group. We would prefer a weekly basis as I tend to get cranky when I do get to game at least that often.
We own most (if not all) of the D&D 3.5 books, quite a few Pathfinder books (PF is actually our preferred fantasy system at the moment), we have a few sets of dwarven forge, a couple of boxes of random minis, a few of the PF paper token sets as well as a great big kitchen to make yummy game snacks in.
What are we looking for in players? I know itís clichť to say you have to see the game as a GAME and not take things to seriously and donít be a rules lawyer and have a sense of humourÖ BUT those things are kind of important.
Seriously though if you are interested in traveling to Etobicoke (or live there already) and want to play somethingÖ we are open to discussion. My husband will probably be the one running game (unless I find myself with tons of time or someone else wants to run something) and heís open to a PF game, a 3.5 game, a vampire the masquerade game (although he wan
I've been running D&D games since 2004, when I was in university we played at least once a week sometimes more than that. Since graduating and getting a full time job it's been harder to find people to play with. My husband and I hosted a game at our house for a little while but that group kind of fell apart due to busy schedules and people with busier lives then I seem to have. For the last two years we've been playing weekly (with the odd heart wrenching skipped week) with an awesome group of gamers. Unfortunately they are planning on moving further than they already are and life is busy for them as well. (Wow.. I suddenly feel like I have no social life beyond gaming.. I know it's not true, but.. yeah. Maybe it's because gaming is my favourite way to spend my free time?)
For right now we are looking to fill in some of the weekly gaps with a game (hopefully at our house) sometime over the weekend, Friday night, Saturday or Sunday. We might not ALWAYS be free, but if I get my way we find time for gaming.
My husband and I are in our early 30s but as stated in what I am looking for age isnít really anything to worry about. I played with people both younger and older than myself and have had a great time doing it.
We have a big table and a house of our own so we are even open to playing host to someone else's game.
We have all the 3.5 books (basically), an okay supply of minis and a couple sets of Dwarven Forge. Basically I (we) just want to find some people to share this with and be able to game on a regular basis.
If you have any questions, comments, concerns, proposals, death threats or just random phrases please feel free to message me here and chances are (now that Iím back here and looking around again) I will get back to you pretty speedily.
I mean if you canít already tell Iím a little obsessed with gamingÖ.
Okay I like, Iím REALLY FREAKING obsessedÖ.
