What are you looking for?:
Looking for players for a bi-weekly Traveller game (latest Mongoose edition) that may play on alternate Friday evenings or on Saturdays (yet to be determined). Location of the game is in Bethel Park (a few miles south of Pittsburgh). I have one guy who I have played with before who is interested, and I would like to find another two or three players. I am interested in running a wide-open game where players explore the universe, tell me where they want to go and what they want to do, and find their own solutions to in-game puzzles and problems. If you're not familiar with it, Traveller is one of the oldest science fiction RPGs out there and makes for a classic space opera game. Think Firefly (television) or the old science fiction novels of Andre Norton, Poul Anderson, and Isaac Asimov for inspiration. This is a game where cleverness will get you further than a gun, but sometimes you need both.
I got into gaming about twelve years ago in college. I've played mostly D&D, but I enjoy other systems such as Exalted, World of Darkness, or Call of Cthulu when I get a chance to try them. I have a couple of groups I play semi-regularly with on Sundays, along with an alternate-Friday game.
