What are you looking for?:
As a player, I look for a group that is consistent, open, fun and willing to look into new ideas. Call of Cthulhu has been my favorite game, and I find that developing a character, figuring stuff out, and combat that is brutal, fast and scary are things I enjoy.
I did play D&D for years though and enjoy a good 50/50 game (lots of combat, but also lots of deep rp/character development)
About Me
Biography:
My name is Jon. I was born in the mid 80s, and my first rp experiences were brought on by a close friends older brother. He introduced us to gaming with Ravenloft and a loose interpretation of the rules of the game. Needless to say, this was terrifying.
I played 2nd edition for years, until as a teen, 3.0 came out. This allowed my friends and I to really take ownership of our games. I ususally DMed, and had some epic highschool campaigns, with forays into Alternity, VTM and d6 star wars.
I took a short break from active gaming upon start of college, then began gaming again in the twin cities with 3.5 and Call of Cthulhu. Ran a very fun year long D&D campaign, and then played in a long Call of Cthulhu game (Masks!)
