I'm an experienced DM/GM looking to start a 5th edition campaign in St. Paul MN. I'm looking to start fairly low-scale, episodic in order to allow PCs to develop relationships within the group and to the setting. The goal is to focus mostly on characters, but given that this is Dungeons and...

Medium Groups (Between 4 and 6 players)
What are you looking for?:
As a player, I look for a group that is consistent, open, fun and willing to look into new ideas. Call of Cthulhu has been my favorite game, and I find that developing a character, figuring stuff out, and combat that is brutal, fast and scary are things I enjoy.
I did play D&D for years though and enjoy a good 50/50 game (lots of combat, but also lots of deep rp/character development)
My name is Jon. I was born in the mid 80s, and my first rp experiences were brought on by a close friends older brother. He introduced us to gaming with Ravenloft and a loose interpretation of the rules of the game. Needless to say, this was terrifying.
I played 2nd edition for years, until as a teen, 3.0 came out. This allowed my friends and I to really take ownership of our games. I ususally DMed, and had some epic highschool campaigns, with forays into Alternity, VTM and d6 star wars.
I took a short break from active gaming upon start of college, then began gaming again in the twin cities with 3.5 and Call of Cthulhu. Ran a very fun year long D&D campaign, and then played in a long Call of Cthulhu game (Masks!)
