What are you looking for?:

Variety is good. I like a play-by-the-rules approach, albeit with flexibility for creativity. In games I have run, I have no problem fudging the rules when players come up with a creative solution for surmounting obstacles. I would probably prefer a game that is death-lite, but I appreciate that death is part of the challenge and must remain a constant threat. I enjoy the challenge of combat, but sorting out a convoluted plot, moral dilemma or other mental puzzle is also a fun and integral part of any campaign. A game session with a share of combat and intellectual challenge is one I would be very satisfied with.

Biography:

I'm a thirtysomething gamer in Northern NJ, married, no kids (yet) with your average 9-5 work schedule. Most of my RPG experience is with D&D, although I have had some exposure to Shadowrun. I'm currently running the Scales of War adventure path in Wayne, NJ that typically runs bimonthly, athough our schedule can vary sometimes. I also play in a monthly homebrew/FR campaign in Edison, NJ.
