Redlands here also. 44 yrs old with a family and job, so time is at a premium for me as well. I'm still looking for a group to play some Pathfinder or AD&D2e.

What are you looking for?:
I've both played and GMed in the past. Currently, I'm playing in an infrequent online game with my old group, after we've moved to different parts of the country. It's fun, but I'd like to have an in person group again also, with an actual table and actual dice. :)

Although I'd like to GM again at some point, at the moment, I'm looking for a group to play with. (I try to adapt my campaigns to fit my players, so doing that with a brand new group is kind of hard...)

Ideally, I'd play with a GM who's confident enough in his or her abilities to give the players a little bit of freedom to innovate, to make the game more interesting. The players don't need to be experts or anything, just decent, fun people. :)

Generally I play DnD, 3.5 or 4e, but I've been wanting to try Pathfinder as well. I'm open to learning a new game system also, as long as there's a bit of patience for my fumblings.
About Me
I've been playing since AD&D 2e in high school, which I got interested in after getting a copy of FRUA (which I had a blast with). I played AD&D off and on through high school and college, and switched over to 3e. Eventually played 3.5, which I got pretty familiar with, and generally liked a great deal. I've been playing 4e with my old group on openrpg, and it was a bit tough to get used to it at first, although I have the hang of it now. (Still prefer 3.5, though.) I also picked up Pathfinder, and although I haven't played yet, I like what I see in the books.

Sundays would be the easiest time for me to play, although Friday evenings and Saturday mornings would probably work also. I can't necessarily commit to a weekly game though, since I'm sometimes out of town for the weekend, or for Sunday, or whatever.
